During campaign 2008 there was no shortage of talk about the left's contention that America needs to engage the entire globe to make amends for whatever they believe we have done wrong. The list of nations willing to join in the chorus was also large. Funny how their agreement of how bad America is did not keep them from buying all the mortgage backed debt they could get their hands on. So now their is a global economic crisis for no other erason than greed is international in scope. Much like all the other ills on the planet to which we all share a connection in one way or another. Seems the countries of the world are not so different after all. Another example of how peculiar the world is.
