If I were to physically assault Andrew Sullivan, would he agree that I am acting on behalf of all Americans, in fact of the entire world? Perhaps he’d ask himself “Why do they hate me?”

Amazing who the left allies themselves with. This man was “insurgent” friendly, which means he wanted Saddamn’s government to come back. Ironically, if he were to do this to someone in Saddamn’s government, he would be dead now. Even more interesting is the fact that the left are trying to show this as some sort of statement against Bush. I find it odd that the 1 is so much more important that the millions who cherish the freedom they are now breathing. That the leftists in this country would rather see the totalitarian regime of So Damn Insane come back and put these now free people under his boot heel, than pay Bush any praise for these extremely difficult situations. 1. To Jets’ GM Mike Tannenbaum–guy has a good arm. If Favre retires after the season, bring him over and have Coach Mangini work him out.

2. If a shoe had been thrown to Obama, he would have snagged it with one hand, and deftly made sure he was past the first-down marker before heading out of bounds, cradling the shoe in his arms.

3. Hat tips to Tom and Steve, who understand that this is an insult to us all and refuse to play partisan games.

4. To Dana Perino. I hope it’s only a bruised eye and not a detached retina. See your opthalmologist, just to be sure.

Once again Dubya demonstrates the meaning of class. As frustrating as I found his presidency at times, I never doubted that he always did what he believed was the right thing, and not the expedient or politically advantageous. And his ego is comfortably sized – all in all, a decent man who did his best and didn’t look for the easy way out. I think his conscience is going to lie easy upon him.

Funny how one guy in a crowd exemplifies the entire Iraqi people, and the hundreds who did not throw anything, or who restrained the man, are nothing at all.

Unlike the first commendter, I’d be upset if this happened to any U.S. president, Republican or Democrat. So yes, I don’t want it to happen to president Obama.

I certainly didn’t vote for Obama, and campaigned against him, but how dare anyone disrespect hinm in this manner.
