The damage from arson at Wasilla Bible Church has been estimated to be around $1 million. The Gov. even apologized to her pastor if the church was targeted over her vice presidential candidacy. Police are still investigating.
Sunday services were held at Wasilla Middle School yesterday. This quote is especially important to remember:
The congregation realizes the church is more than the building, said John Doak, associate pastor.
“The definition of the church is the body of Christ, made up of God’s people,” Doak said after the hourlong service that drew about 1,200 people to Wasilla Middle School. “The church is still there. We are the church.”
Amen.
MM has the details on how you can help Wasilla Bible Church repair the damage caused by the fire.

To be honest, I’d more likely suspect teenagers with too much beer in them than anyone going after Palin’s church for their religious views or to get at her.
Maybe.
In any event, that’s what we here call “tacky.”
Oh my goodness, they held their church services in a public middle school? That’s all the proof we need that Sarah Palin, the secret bride of Satan, is planning to make us into a theocracy!
We’re sorry you found that out, Dana.
John Stewart once wrote and recorded a song that went something like, “they’re singing hymns in the high school gym because the church burned down last night.”
