There must be “legs” to this investigation. Bill Richardson has been angling for a new fed job in D.C. since the end of the Clinton administration. No way does he “go gently” unless there’s really something to this.

It's very surprising that Richardson dropped out. The mainstream media woulda gotten his back, as they do for all Democrats. There's got to be more to the story that we still don't know. Something real juicy. But tiny lil' infractions, questionable connections, and conflicts of interest normally don't make Democrat politicians go away. They hang on to their positions of power like a rottweiller on a letter carrier's ankle. Cases in point: Bill Clinton and Blago.
