Sunday football open thread
Two games down this weekend as of yesterday, and two to go today.
The Panthers have a bye this week, but will play at home Saturday night against Minnesota if the Vikes win today against the Eagles or, if they lose, the Panthers will play the Cardinals, the winner of last night’s game against Atlanta.
Last night saw bad news for Colts fans, as Manning and the boys lost to the Chargers in OT 23-17.
Today’s games? Baltimore plays against Miami at 1 ET in Dolphins Stadium (broadcast on CBS), and the “Iggles” (as ST reader GWR calls them) play the Vikings in Minnesota at 4:30 ET (broadcast on Fox).
What’s the word on Brett Favre/Jets drama? The NY Daily News is reporting that “retirement seems likely.” Stay tuned.
