Between the Hollywood agenda in films and the bogus documentaries being peddled, I don’t see films anymore nor do I purchase them.

Just more BS trying to make Sarah look like she is a horrible person. How many Inuit babies must starve, because someone with a posh elitist lifestyle, who is totally clueless what it takes to survive in the true wilderness of Alaska has to open her flap??

I use to like Ashley Judd, but I won’t go see her movies what so ever. Why waste my time and money making the clueless rich?? Yeah I know, I don’t go to alot of movies these days. – Lorica

Predator control has been part of life for thousands of years.

Judd has just signed onto a popular subject in which everyone in Hollywood agrees. Popular, safe, gets some good press. It’s a win-win for her.

How about a stance against sex trafficking, Ashley? Now there’s a predator issue that could use your attention.

I am so tired of hypocritical celebrities like Ashley Judd who has the nerve to talk about slaughter of wildlife but will not talk about a more important issue of slaughter of innocent life. ABORTION! And this is why I admire Gov. Palin who is against this. Furthermore, she has the nerve to attack her. Judd needs to go back to doing what she does best–mediocre acting.

So let me get this straight. As humans we take the land away from all the animals and ruin the natural balance they had before we overpopulated everyplace. So when we try to restore the balance it’s a problem. Maybe she should see photos of animals starving to death when they eat all the available resources. That’s a much more compassionate treatment of the animals. I’d like to see her sit down with the outfitters that make a living taking people on hunts for moose and caribou and explain to them that the wolves are worth more than their livelyhood.

To clarify my previous comment, I don’t agree with this ad campaign. It’s miss leading and leaves out important conservation points that need to be addressed. (Besides it’s unnecessarily aggressive in it’s attacks. It’s sad that they have to attack one person for supporting the work of many conversationalists.)

However, I believe America (and people in general) are better than this.

So what does Ashley Judd have against caribou? And why do wolves matter more than humans to her?

I don’t think it’s that, so much as she simply isn’t thinking. Animal-rights people like Judd never go the next step and wonder what happens if we let the wolf population grow out of control: they just stop with weeping over cute wolves killed by mean humans. It never occurs to them that “conservation” entails intelligent management of wildlife populations, which at times means culling.

And that, of course, conflicts with their Disney view of wildlife.
