People care that our economy isn’t doing well and people care that their elected officials waste $. All public officials, including the great John McCain spend and sometimes waste public $.
It’s just that we have no direct input or control into how Congress works on a daily basis. The rules and procedures are not going to change any time soon. A compromised bill is better than no bill at all. That’s how our Congress works. Take it or leave it.

We have to wake up America, the silent majority, if they are still out their, can not be silent any longer! We have to stop the likes of Pelosi, Reid and the Schumers. It is getting to a point that we will not be able to undo the damage they are creating in this country, if we do not do something NOW. Let them now we are out here and we do care, STOP THIS INSANITY!!!!

Unfortunately, we still have Americans who believe if it comes from the government—it’s free! And as long as those people who pay little or no taxes are reaping some benefit, a large portion of society won’t notice. When I taught US history, I used this analogy: if the government decided to outlaw refrigerators, no one would notice until the federal agents came to your house to remove the frig. NC Cop nailed it!

I agree that too many in this country probably do agree with Schumer. They’re going to give a pass to Obama no matter how many lies come out of his mouth.

CNBC had on one fellow who said that “these guys don’t know markets“.
He went on to explain that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner hadn’t disclosed a “plan” today, but rather gave a “broad” outline of a plan which, as far as the markets were concerned, was worse than nothing.

Geithner should have waited until the plan was complete rather than creating new uncertainty in the market with “vapor”.

Sadly, he may be right. Not enough Americans realize what this is going to do, and they don’t seem to care. Months from now when unemployment is approaching 10% people will become angrier. Unfortunately, the media will do its handlers bidding and cover for the dems. They will find a way to still blame Republicans.
