I’ve never believed he should, because I was outraged at the audacity of Gov. Blago to appoint someone in the middle of the scandal he created for himself, but this news regarding the closer-than-originally-admitted association between Burris and Blago seals the deal for me even more.
Burris must go.
I suppose this makes me a “racist,” Congressman Rush?

I think this is another example of why the antique gubernatorial appointment rule should be replaced by special elections.

They were talking about special elections before the appointment–that’s why Blagojevich shoved it through so fast.
