PW, I think you answered your own question there. It’s like Chicken George (“Roots”) asking Massa if he wants him to give the new slave some stripes. In the rush to curry favor a slave (then or now) will do anything to try to get an extra crumb from “Massa” without realizing the tightening of the bonds that hold him.

And don’t forget us, the ones who pay for this new plantation. We are the ones who helped put this monster into office because we wanted something for nothing, too, just like the slaves. We allowed ourselves to be co-opted by a donkey-light that had absolutely no chance of winning. We are surely as pathetic as the ones you mention.

Obama is full of crap (as if that would surprise anyone). Sooner or later, I suspect his words and actions will cost him support. Top of my wish list for 2012 is seeing that underserving, mental midget getting his ass kicked out of the White House by voters. (Again, as if that would surprise anyone.)

Yeah, we pay and he goes higher and higher into his ascendancy to his rightful place as savior of the downtrodden. That’s real pay as you go.

He’s real fine at dumping racism on anyone who disagrees with him, but I didn’t hear one word about all the lib cartoons showing GW as a monkey. Maybe it’s only a particular species of monkey that makes such cartoons racist?

And for a guy who blasted his predecessor as a “big spender” he sure doesn’t mind spending my money (and my children’s and grandchildren’s) fast as he can.

Obama ran against everything Bush did and went out of his way to show disrespect. Too bad Obama doesn’t want to change the “spending” spree in Washington. Does this guy ever listen to what he says? Everything out of his mouth is only true for about ten seconds. Now he wants a “pay as you go” plan? Have we entered the Land of Oz?

if a republican had done this, commentators all over the land would be ridiculing him mercilessly. but no, all we’ll here is that obama has a plan and he’s responsible.

it’s hard to come to any kind of positive conclusion about our country.
