A true media legend has passed away today. See-dubya has probably one of the best tributes to Paul Harvey (who was 90) posted that I have seen this evening.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this wonderful man who touched the lives of – and inspired – so many.
May he RIP.

Paul Harvey counts as a genuine childhood memory for me; I can remember my Dad having him on the radio in the car while he was driving his route through the Southern California desert in the 60s. Like Vin Scully, his was one of the voices I’ll always associate with radio.
“This is Paul Harvey … Good day!”
God Bless him, and God Bless this wonderful family. Both Paul and Angel died this year, and that must be so hard on them. – Lorica
Mr. Harvey was one of the first rational people in this country not to oppose the war in ‘Nam but to say, “Fight to win or get out!”
He got my attention that day and has had my respect ever since.
Our sympathies to his family. He was surely a good man.
