Well, not exactly, but Michelle Malkin points to today’s David Brooks column in the NYT in which he admits that the Democrat he routinely praised during the 2008 presidential campaign season is not the guy he thought he knew. Money quote:
“Those of us who consider ourselves moderates are forced to confront the reality that Barack Obama is not who we thought he was.”
It goes without saying that if Brooks had paid more attention last year to what was actually going on rather than trying to stay in the good graces of the Beltway Elite, he’d have known this already.
Malkin suggested a Photoshop contest based on the “Sorry, Everybody” website some Bush haters started after he was re-elected in 2004. Doug Ross has helpfully answered the call.

I love the photo on Michelle Malkin’s website! Smelling the coffee in this venue is going to be a bitter pill to swallow.
Had a look at the “Sorry” site.
I can’t tell–has it been updated for the current morass?
So David Brooks is wrong again? Film at 11. The idiot made a career out being a bargain-basement version of Harry Golden, albeit dumber and more gullible. I see Pinch Sulzberger’s moron welfare program is still in full operation.
The hell you say?!?!
Translation: That’s not the Barack Obama I knew.
Oh, we’ll probably be seeing a lot of this from others.
As for Brooks, what really got me angry were these words:
Oh, wait, that wasn’t Brooks. That was a different idiot. Same overall stupidity, but a different idiot.
“I’m sorry”
Truer words where never spoken–but he is just one sorry piece of crap in a crapper full of sorry pieces of crap.
It won’t help me any. I’m one of th ones to old to waste medical care on.
Wait till the summer…when the s___ hits the fan.
Nina, when the power grids shut down, when lines form at the gas stations (reminiscent of the 70s) and there are shortages of some foodstuffs, it will be of no concern to Big Zero because, after all, it’s GW’s fault, it always will be.
Never mind that it’s his goal to shut down the power grid (he calls it being green) and to prevent the U.S. from becoming energy-independent (no new drilling, no new refineries).
Barack Obama said that our Constitution granted “negative rights”, meaning that it’s the government that’s restricted by US little individuals from being forced to drive a certain car, eat what they tell us to, and install a toilet that meets big brother specifications. This guy wants to be Joe Stalin of America, controlling every aspect of our lives and production, yet he and Tony Rezco couldn’t build a single public housing project in Chicago where they would want their own children live in. The easiest way to define a leftie: someone that claims to be an expert on public education, but never attended a public school, and won’t send their own children to one either. When did the Obamas pretend to be anything else, and how could the media be fooled by them?
If that “I’m Sorry” website was started by Bush supporters, it was overrun by idiots who voted for Kerry. My God, just remembering how Dems stuck up for John Kerry makes me wonder just how gullable they really are. That man made rocks look smart. Yet here are these people apologizing to the world for him not winning. Whatever, Bush was the best thing that ever happened to this world. Freed more people from tyranny than the last 3 Dem administrations combined. Their thinking is ridiculous and stupid, but I am talking about people who voted for the Tree. – Lorica
I don’t trust anybody who voted for Obama having regrets now and apologizing. Don’t trust them. The facts were/are out there about this crook/liar/articulate politician and those who voted for him chose to ignore the truth. We reap what we sow.
Taken as a whole, whether they admit they’re sorry or not, Big Zero and his circle of friends (Biden, Wright, Alinsky, weathermen, Geithner, Rangle, Kennedy, etc.) are just about the sorriest bunch anyone who loves this country ever did see.
But since they’re all extremists and intellectuals (including “I didn’t plagerize” Joe and “I didn’t cheat” Teddy) you’ll never get the “I’m sorry” because part of being an effete intellectual snob is never having to say you’re sorry no matter how many lives you’ve screwed up.
