If Mr. Steele could show us knuckledraggers why moving to the left/center would make a bit of Constitutional/moral/ethical/economic/social sense, he ought to go for it. Unfortunately for him, his real personal positions on most issues have already been vetted by the right and found to be either lacking or wanting.

And bottom line, he’s beginning to sound a lot like our esteemed leader who doesn’t have a stand in his body that can’t be changed on a whim (or poll).

I supported the election of Steele. Unfortunately, he has turned into a Gaffe-O-Matic, and it is time for him to go. Picking a fight with Rush Limbaugh, going on CNN and being interviewed by GQ is Grade A dumb, but Steele never saw it coming. It’s like having the RNC hire Howard Dean to produce TV commercials for Republicans.

As Casey Stengel one remarked about his hapless Mets ballclub, “Can’t anyone here play this game?”

Do not go on these stupid shows or magazines. Do not give them the time of day. They will destroy you and your message will get warped because they will ask you INANE and INSANE questions.

Speak with your own microphone. Don’t use theirs. Say what you want to say. Don’t answer their stupid q’s!!!

We should all make a pact… Really.

The dominant drive-by legacy media have made theirselves irrelevant and we should treat them that way. There is no reason to give them legitimacy.

They fail every day to report. They are negligent. Journalism has died. Don’t give them the time of day.

Seems the search for a leader for the ENTIRE Republican party is similar to Geithner’s search for people to fill his subordinate positions: no one who is really qualified wants to put up with the crap his handlers/superiors would impose.

So, what do they do, go back to square 1 and vote again?

My personal choice for RNC chair was Blackwell. As it turns out, he certainly couldn’t have done more damage in a shorter time than who the jackass wannabees who run the party did with Steele.

the guy has been a severe disappointment.

what can we expect, though. we had mccain, remember?

unfortunately, it’s prob going to be awhile before we really get anyone that believes in conservative principals. obama putting into place policies to destroy the country isn’t going to do it. we’re going to have to wait for those policies to actually do the destroying before people will wake up.

More than Michael’s stumbling performances before the public, I’m concerned about his failure to fully staff the RNC after firing nearly everyone and having the rest quit. They need to be gearing up for the 2010 elections, but who’s there to do the work?
