(with a stop in N.C. to visit my step-daughters' half-sister---don't ask). I loved the place and it immediately became a place close to my heart. I was further enthralled to learn of its fine governor, Mark Sanford, and thought, "my, what a great place to retire!" But then there's Clyburn. Damn, I'm from Illinois and y'all know who came from here...plus, we've got Dick Durbin. We've just gotta get Congressional control back to conservatism. Wasn't that two weeks after the Contract With America great? What the hell happened? My last out of state vacation was to Charleston, S.C.
