Howard Dean/Keith Olbermann hypocrisy watch

Olby and Deanjohnny dollar has yet another sterling example of Keith Olbermann engaging in rank hypocrisy on another issue, this time on the issue of calling a sitting POTUS names like “fascist.” Last night, KeithO was interviewing the Dr. of Disology himself, former DNC Chair Howard Dean, on this issue. Dean and Olby were acting as paragons of civility in what could only be described – by those of us who know how both Dean and Keith O. really operate – as being filmed in some warped alternate reality.

Read the transcript here of Dean and Olby’s tea and scones conversation on name-calling, and then watch j$’s video of Olbermann’s then versus now attitude on the issue of calling a sitting president a “fascist.”

And when you get done with that, take a trip down memory lane (scroll) and read about how the former DNC Chair talked about the Republican opposition – including the POTUS – while he was at one time running for the office of the presidency himself, and the other times working hard to get Democrats elected. Some of the lowlights?

Howard Dean showed up to talk about Black History Month but the focus quickly changed to politics Tuesday night in ICC Auditorium.

The Chairman of the Democratic National Committee and former Governor of Vermont contrasted the two parties’ presidential candidates, saying that with a woman and an African-American as the two front-runners, the Democratic field “looks like America” while the all-white male Republican field “looks like the 1950s and talks like the 1850s.”

——-

“The truth is the President of the United States used the same device that Slobodan Milosevic used in Serbia. When you appeal to homophobia, when you appeal to sexism, when you appeal to racism, that is extraordinarily damaging to the country.”

Will the real Howard Dean please stand up?

What’s interesting to me is that the “only” things the loony Left could babble/lie about for eight years was the Iraq war (even though they all voted for it) and President Bush’s supposed inability to speak well during conferences (even though Obama can ONLY speak with a teleprompter). Of course, they continue to try to blame Bush for the collapsing economy which was caused by both Democrats and Republicans. (Where the hell are the investigations into Freddie and Fannie that started the collapse?)

I’m not a Bush apologist, he did some pretty nasty things while he had the power.

But I’m coming to the conclusion that he’s so hated by the left because he was only half the socialist they are; in other words, they consider him only a pretender, which is worse than if he had really stood for anything.

‘Course, Olbermann, Dean and the rest stand for screaming, insipid stupidity, so what’s the difference?

  3. NC Cop says:

Wasn’t that gold? Two of the biggest left wing morons, one who made his career bashing Bush and the other a politician of epic stupidity, are complaining about people saying bad things about their hero.

Awwwwwww, did we say something bad about little Obama.

Poor little guys, they really are lost without Bush in the White House.

Dean and Olbermann? Hypocrites? Why, that is so shocking.

Next you’ll try to convince me that they’re about as smart as the mud on my shoe.

Of course, that might be giving them too much credit.
