Don't forget...babies are bad for the environment, too. This was an eample of the noise pollution they emit.

Having raised three little ones, I can say it is the most wonderful and fulfilling time of my life. I enjoyed watching them grow and learn and was able to be a stay a home mom....busy with other things, too, but mostly concentrating on the kids. Housework could wait if there was a picture that we could draw together, a story that I could read to them, etc. I wouldn't trade that for the world. By the way, I never used disposable diapers...I used a diaper service. I breastfed all of them to about one year of age, saving my husband thousands of dollars. During that time period my husband and I built a house together (no general contractors or subs....we did it all basically). So the kids were not an inconvenience as some would think.

It's really a shame that some people look at children as a roadblock to their happiness, when in reality they are the reason for living and help you grow and mature!

This illustrates the basic problem the pro-aborts have with babies - they're inconvenient. They interrupt you with their demands for food, attention, and love. They don't let you pursue your goals and dreams uninterrupted. They force you to make choices to accomodate them.

That's what is so wonderful about babies. They bring in the fresh breath of life to an overly self-involved, narrow-minded focus on me, me, me. They broaden you, by being the one person that you can't ignore to reach your goal in a timely fashion. They make you deal with messy humanity.

Women used to be different from men. We used to spend less time on our own ambitions, and deal with the here and now. We used to "interrupt" our days to include time for children, the elderly, and the handicapped. The phrase "stop and smell the roses" was internalized by women in the past. Today, many would not even pause their onward and upward march to think about the implications of that message.

It's all about me today. They say I want to have sex (funnily, many of them seem to have quite unsatisfying sex, at least to judge by the complaints they have). But, I want no consequences for that decision.

They haven't learned that decisions ALWAYS have consequences.
