Remember those 2000 mpg aluminum foil cars that the Obama gang will soon force GM and Chrysler to build? The ones that couldn’t survive a head-on collision with a three-year-old’s tricycle? You’ll be glad to know there’s no danger of you having to buy one.
And the reason is, this administration will try to force you give up cars completely.
Don’t take my word for it…Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says so:
At least he’s honest enough to admit it. Dear Leader probably would have read a few high-sounding non-sequiturs off his teleprompter and then blamed Bush for the invention of the automobile.
Gotta wonder how the UAW will like the idea that people will now be dissuaded from buying the cars made by the company they now own – not that most of us would touch them anyway.
So on the one hand, the part of the administration that’s responsible for Central Economic Planning and nationalizing private companies is throwing money away coming up with their grand design for the car of the future. On the other hand, the part of the administration that’s responsible for pandering to the al-Gores of the world is working out ways to make sure no one buys them. If that makes sense to you, you might be a liberal.
One more final bit of honesty from LaHood…asked about how he would respond to charges that his plans intrude on people’s lives:
Absolutely unreal. It shouldn’t really surprise anyone, though, that they are talking like this. They have virtually complete immunity from anything. The flock of sheeple that are the Obama supporters will never question anything that this administration does or says and our one party media will surely close ranks to protect “O”.
