Sev, you need to look at it from Obama's perspective. For Chicago Democrats, rooting out corruption and abuse is bizarre behavior.

"Normal" behavior would be demanding a kickback from Johnson for not reporting it.

Well, isn't it interesting that, from a lib perspective, it all depends on who's the pit bull and who's the victim. When something traditional and not nearly as obnoxious as this happened with W, he was the pit bull. Now, His Hollowness does what can only be viewed as his prerogative but under strange circumstances and the fired guy is the pit bull.

Wonder why? And it's just one more shining example of liberal hypocrisy.

This appears to be a devious misuse of power and just another day in the life of Obama and his cronies. We really can't depend on the media other-- than Fox news-- to look into this. I have called the White House and The Capitol. I spoke with aides and encouraged my senators to do an investigation into these IG firings.I also called Sen. Grassley and encouraged him in finding out what's going on there.

It's ironic that one of the few papers to seriously look at Obama the candidate and Obama the President is his hometown journal.

Or maybe it's not ironic; maybe they know him best. :-?

Gotta love the reason they gave for dismissing Walpin. He acted "bizarrely."

Bizarrely = actually believing he should be trying to do his job and find corruption and abuse when it concerns a Democrat or Obama crony, and then not realizing he should resign rather than hold his ground.

Most ethical government evah! More Change You Can Believe In, yeah, he's brought change to Washington, he's made it worse, something I never believed possible.

The libs are decrying this as a conservative "talking point" and attributing any credible investigative reporting as such...get ready for a big blowout over this. I hope Grassley will continue to pursue this even as the dems in congress try to spin their way out of this first inkling of corruption.

If we look at this from a strategy standpoint, we may get a glimpse of how Obama will deal with anyone who purports the stench of corruption let alone hard facts....you will be gone and fast.

I would say the firing of the IG is somewhat suspicious on the grounds presented and borders on age discrimination... saying some one is "a bit confused" and relating that to dementia or some other medical condition that is not documented or investigated certainly violates employment law. If this happened in the private sector there would have to be medical documentation as well as documentation by the employer that all avenues were pursued before firing or replacing personnel.

Bring on full blown investigations and see what happens! You go Grassley!

Soetoro is a loser on so many levels I don't want to dignify him with a critique of his obvious failures as a man and a President of the United States.

Suffice it to say, if you have seen the list of questions Senator Grassley has raised, a set of questions that Soetoro's chief legal counsel on ethics in government REFUSED to answer- forcing Senator Grassley to pose these questions IN WRITING to the Boy President himself--- then you would know for certain that the Hope and Change White House is in disarray.

One thread pulled aggressively on one pecadillo issue (like letting your Negro Buddies hire chauffers with public money) will bring down a presidency.

The cover-up is well underway. The POTUS has overreached and underdelivered on his promises not 200 days into his term.

The demise will be bittersweet: glad to see this miscreant thrown out of office and remorsed to see the damage done both foreign and domestic.

The real prize: the end of the Dhimmicratic Party. No I take that back: the real prize will be orange jump suits for all the elected officials nationwide that turned a blind eye to Soetoro's lack of eligibility to be POTUS. Voter fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy to defraud the Treasury, etc etc etc.

Hoist all of them for treason I say. And let it be a lesson to future generations of "community organizers" that there is a price to be paid for lack of accountability to the people. All of the people all of the time.

Obama Sets pattern Of Undermining Independent Inspectors General...

Just a bit more unethical, and quite possibly criminal, activity from the Obama Regime. It isn't just Walpin -- it is also the IG of the International Trade Commission and the limits being placed on the IG at the Treasury......

Well Thank God for Chuck Grassley. This is serious. If a Rep President had done this, there would be a zillion congressional inquiries. At this very moment Dodd and his buddies would be having mock impeachment trials in the basement of the Capital building, if this were a Republican. I will even have to give props to Clair McCaskel for her blocking of Barack's actions. - Lorica
