You see Mr. Card, unlike you folks on the left, we get rid of our “alligences” to people who exhibit behaviors outside of the societal norms. We don’t put them in as platforms to our party. In order to have an alligence, 2 must agree to be allies, much like Rev. Wright and Barack. Once this persons true motivations were known, we shed him like water off a ducks back. We don’t hang around folks like this, or known terrorists praising books they have written. I agree that there is a rush to ascribe such overt acts of violence to the political-right. That does not change the fact that Hal Turner is a certified bigot who used to keep company with Sean Hannity and is well-known by others on the right. Though he eventually fell out of favor with right-wingers because of his toxic views, he obviously considers himself to be conservative.

This guy is not a lefty and denying his avowed allegiance to the right makes his defenders sound more like deranged, obfuscating supporters.

Being stereotyped by the extremists in one’s group sucks. It’s nothing new though. There are extremists on both sides of the aisle. Life’s rough.

Second, Steve makes an excellent point by bringing up Ayers, and he was certainly not the only murder advocate adored by leftists (not even “extremist” leftists). I’m sure with a little digging we could probably find a racist preacher or two of His Hollowness’ acquaintance that has advocated such, and half his cabinet heartily supports such people.

And lastly, the “tiny minority” of muslims who are “radicals” is such a bogus claim. Even if only 1/10 of 1% of the estimated muslim population (1.5 billion) was such, that would still be 1.5 million terrorists on the loose. The claim is that the actual percentage is 1%, which is 15 million. What’s “tiny” about that?

Bottom line is the guy made a threat, and IF he is to be prosecuted, the left should own up to his being one of “theirs”, not one of “ours”.

The Left is still trying to prove that Lee Harvey Oswald was a “right winger”, which requires you ignore his time in Russia and his Cuban support, etc. etc.

Anyway, this guy never actually killed anyone, just as Obama’s supporters keep telling us about his pal Bill Ayers, so what’s the big deal?
