Please don’t even try to confuse them with verifiable facts, it only entrenches them deeper into fantasy and gives them a real attitude.

“All credible scientists and evidence…” indeed! Wonder when they’ll start decrying the “fact” the entire universe is in danger because MMGW is moving our earth away from the center of that universe?

Proper place means as another lie used to prop up whatever repressive, statist, Orwellian activity we want to impose to increase the power of government over your lives, not make decisions based on facts and logic.

Given the fact that we are still suffering under BS rules and regulations FDR put in place to help prolong the Great Depression, 50 years from now we will be freezing our collective butts off and still paying taxes on energy so we can stop global warming.

Your from my husbands home town Troy, but that is not what caught our eye. The fact that you read that 300 page document, What a high….Those Dems were totally ticked. We were pulling for you 100%. Thanks for that.

We need more gutsy people to come forward. I am so sorry we had 8 Republicans who got bought off or what ever their lamb excuse is , What a shame and what a let down.

It was said on TV that the Dems who voted against the energy bill were given permission to vote no, because they were on thin ice in their districts.
It doesn’t matter if we had all Republicans voting no, the Dems would have only let a few less off the hook to still pass the bill. It’s all manipulated to look close, but we don’t have a prayer.

I hate to tell some of you the signs were there when you voted for Obama, you knew what he was going to do once in office.

Nancy Pelosi and “Dirty” Harry Reed they haven’t changed their colors, we all knew what they are about.

Now here it is higher taxes, they will push this to the hilt, I don’t think it is going to pass, but we need to get out there and let them know, stop sitting on your cans and waiting for someone else to do the right thing, it isn’t going to happen.

The taxpayers (us)have to make our voices known (our voice do matter as well as votes), let them know you will not vote them back into office when their term is up; enough is enough!!!!

Email, fax, call your Senator and stop the vote on this horrible and crippling piece of legislation authored by Al Gore, stop the earth worship!!!!

We have to act and soon!!! Time is of the essence, let these idiots know we are not willing to be their gunnea pigs, we are not willing to be taxed to death for them or Obama.

Stand up for something or you will fall for anything.

I just don’t know what to say anymore. From what I understand this includes a 90% tax increase on our home energy use. Where do these idiots believe that money is going to come from. I am so tired of the Federal government ruining this country. Why would we bind our hands with our trading competitors with this pos bill?

I will tell you this, if Kirk thinks he is going to run for Obama’s senate seat, I will vote for whoever runs against him, regardless of party affiliation, as I would rather have someone I can trust to stab me in the front, instead of some lowlife who would stab me in the back. – Lorica

219-212 with 4 NV. How in this country can our representives do this to those of us that VOTED them into office with the HOPE of representation.

Of the 219 yea votes were 8 Republicans and another 2 that didn’t think this was a vote that was important enough to vote on. Shame on all of those who voted to pretty much TRUELY “spead the wealth”.

As with the “STIMULUS” package, did these people at least know what they were voting for? And how many unknown cost of off topic spending were there??? My goodness, just to meet a deadline of our President or to just win an partisan vote with so many unknown varibles.

I am just a simple man with a simple belief that “We the People” still means something. Guess this simple man just does not understand the reasoning in placing so many dollars on a problem that will benifit a few at the cost of the many.

Funny thing. This is the first I’ve heard of a 300 page UNREAD amendment to what was passed out of committee and was voted on by the entire House.

I’m a Christian and not a swearing man, but this has got me close to it. There ought to be a law that says a congressman/woman cannot vote on any legislation unless 60% are willing to sign legal affidavits swearing under penalty of law that they have read and understand whatever piece of legislation they intend to vote on, and the other congresscritters should be made to swear they’ve at least read the legislation in its entirety (without necessarily understanding it). If that can’t be sworn to, no one has any business voting, and if they can’t vote often enough they have no business being an elected official! Most of those thieves don’t have the moral and/or ethical makeup to be an elected official at any level of guvmint anyway.
