His Hollowness has discovered that his illusory theories about war and its collateral actions were just wind escaping his body. Now he will do exactly what the evil W and Darth Cheney were doing, call it something different but confusing, hold it up under soothing yet discreet soft light and tell everyone how much better he is than his predecessors were. Typical donk, typical lib, typical Chicago Machine, typical liar, and typical hypocrite. The sum of his true substance would scarce cause a single ripple in a pond were it dropped there.

I see Glenn “Sock Puppet” Greenwald chimed in in denouncing Obama, but, still waiting for Excitable Andy, the Last True Conservative, to denounce George W. Obama.

certain people can be detained without trial for long periods under the laws of war it is anathema to the basic principles of American law I hope everybody notices the difference here. There is a huge difference between the laws of war and American law. The former is one of those "famously enjoyed" international laws done by treaty, and the latter is the body of US criminal and civil statues. The best news here is that the Obama Administration is abandoning the use of "preventative detention" under Constitutional auspices, which he had alluded to back in May. Putting these detentions under the law of war thus limits there use.

But who are the terrorist suspects our Supreme Leader wants to detain indefinitely? The ones captured on the battlefield or the ones profiled by his Department of Injustice?

Better yet, will we see him hanged and burned in effigy, or someone decrying he should be killed, as was the case about our last president? In those cases, even “moderate” donks defended those things as “freedom of speech”. Wonder if they would now, when it’s about our first black prez?

And as far as “always about politics” goes, the current prez thanks Allah every night for the groundbreaking work W did in enhancing the powers of the presidency. You know the drill. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Hence, not only do you get a gem like His Hollowness, you also get reprocessed barnyard dung like Sanford, Pelosi, Boehner and Reid. Just think of how they limit the definition of “We, the people”.

National Security hasn’t been a priority with Democrats since the days of Scoop Jackson. I just wish that B. Hussein Obama would shut his stupid mouth for one day. Everytime he talks, things get worse.
