This is from Mark Lloyd, newly appointed "Chief Diversity Officer (?) of the FCC:

“Our conclusion is that the gap between conservative and progressive talk radio is the result of multiple structural problems in the U.S. regulatory system, particularly the complete breakdown of the public trustee concept of broadcast, the elimination of clear public interest requirements for broadcasting, and the relaxation of ownership rules,”

First, they can stick their pc crap back in their own behinds because that's where it belongs.

Second, anyone with more than two active brain cells should be intelligent enough to realize the reason most stations don't do "progressive" (boy, that's a misnomer!) talk is that people don't listen, hence, advertisers don't advertise, hence, they have to put over the radio what real people will actually listen to. "...the elimination of clear public interest requirements for broadcasting..." obviously means broadcasting only what he wants heard.

But don't let me interrupt Duh-1's flights of fantasy about "educating" the masses. He'll do what he darn well pleases, the Constitution be damned.

This is OT but related. It seems that the BBC and the NHS, both using taxpayers' money have launched a campaign and have a trending topic to blast pro-NHS messages to Americans. Not sure what that will achieve but it is as well to be aware of it.

1) How did O'Reilly make a list of most influential conservatives? I mean, he's generally not a flamethrowing libtard, but conservative? I hardly think so.

2) The best part of Duh-1's NH "townhall" yesterday was in explaining why we should support guvmint healthcare by using the USPS against Fed-Ex and UPS as an example. Pure, unadulterated explanation why guvmint should never be allowed to do anything ever in the private sector.
