A mandate to a donk/lib/leftist for a donk/lib/leftist is 13 votes less than they got to win with.

Hence, with less than 50% of the vote Clinton got a “mandate”, but with approx. 63% of the vote Reagan did not.

Go figure. It’s for sure the left can’t figure out why His Hollowness’ “mandate” isn’t being succumbed to by conservatives.

The hypocrisy of the left is out of control, that’s for certain. They’re maddern’ hell, so they pull out the “right wing is Hitler” stuff. But why are they quite this upset?

Three reasons, I think:

1) They’re not used to having their own tactics used against them. They don’t like upset people at the town hall meetings shouting and carrying on because they think they’re the only ones who can do it

2) They’re frustrated. Here they have the White House, a filibuster proof Senate, and 256-178 in the House, and they STILL can’t get their legislation passed.

3) They’re surprised. They actually thought that after their messiah Obama was elected the right would wither away and the world would bow at his feet. Not happening.

Also, they overestimated their mandate. Yes people wanted the GOP out and the Dems in, but they didn’t buy into the whole socialist agenda. The Dems are just now finding that out, and reality sucks.

But then, he wasn’t some thin-skinned machine toady from the South Side, either, who couldn’t stand dissent and got his feelings hurt easily. And how ’bout going after GW’s kids, too? Didn’t see him jammin’ the phone lines saying they were off limits, and didn’t hear a word from the MSM saying the same.

And as long as we’re talking names, how ’bout “Darth Cheney”? What could possibly be more evil than Hitler (a piker compared to Stalin or Pol Pot) than 2nd-in-command of the Evil Empire?

But just like Kristolnacht, it will eventually come to light that these pathetic excuses for oxygen burners were probably homeless or inner city thugs and were hired (astroturfed?) to commit whatever outrage it is. But that won’t come to light until much later.

Just sayin’.

And still the newspaper mental wizards can’t figure out it is themselves who are putting themselves into a total irrelevant position.

I wonder who they can blame for that? I mean, talk radio has all the “extremist conservatives” to blame for the lack of “progressive” talk shows (like advertising and listening demographics doesn’t have a thing to do with it), but the print media can’t figure out why people are tired of their daily anti-American screeds disguised as “news” (or at best, “commentary” on the op-ed page).

And as for television, Fox News is at best centerline (which drives everyone else wild because they don’t fall into a total hate-America category). Of course viewership of the news programs is down, just like the newspapers. Maybe if they would broadcast to mainstream America instead of creating the news as they wish it was, their viewership would hold steady or increase, and I can guarantee you sponsorship would increase. But they don’t, and won’t, because they have no idea where mainstream America is. They don’t know anyone like that, therefore they must be mainstream because all their friends think just like they do.

Duh.

If I was to compare Obama to any of the last century’s baddies, it wouldn’t be Hitler anyhow. It would be Mussolini. After all, Obama thinks governing is just a matter of standing with an upthrust chin jutting out.

Methinks the elderly will suddenly be classified as “extremists”!!!!

And just what are they selling anyway? Have we had any really good journalistic efforts by the MSM to explain just exactly what it is the this health care bill is all about???? No wonder we are all clamoring to the internet to get our information…no one in the MSM gives a flying hoot about us.

I do look forward to the backlash against the media when Obama tanks. It’s gonna be fun to watch!
