Watching Canada is a lesson for all. Once socialized medicine gets in place, you will never be able to get rid of it. That is why Obama and crew are willing to move from Obamacare to co-ops. It is just another name for the same thing. The nose under the tent moment.

If you could dig up some of the early supporters of Social Security and Medicare and show them the current system and how it hobbles our nation’s budget I’ll be willing to bet most, not all, but most would be slapping themselves in the forehead and going, “But that’s not what we meant to happen!”

The rest intended this to happen all along. Progressives and socialists bet the farm on the human character trait of greed. They know it is a shorter route to power to promise free stuff to the “masses.” It has always been so. (The Romans did it.) Humans are humans, and most are sheep, and some are wolves. The only saving grace is that a few are sheepdogs and are willing to do what is needed to protect the flock.

Good job to all of you who stood up and said “No more.”

P.S. If the politicians don’t straighten up, I’ll be we can get tar and feathers at a discount somewhere… just saying.

This yoyo head of the CMA sounds suspiciously like virtually all of our politicians. First, screw up something that works by creating a panic about it, then, when that screw-up can’t be hidden any more, screw it up even worse with a magnificent (and magnificently expensive) fix.

Yeah, that’s the ticket. Works so well here, let’s try it in Canada, too!

The problem is that the Conservative Party in Canada is basically Liberal light — so you either have the Libs or a poor imitation of them. Cons won’t touch universal system of health care. Ever. Sad, but true… in Canada we are destined for crappy governments and crappy health care… we either have pseudo-socialist Libs, conservative-socialist Cons or full-out socialist NDP.

All in all, crap.
