Compared to what it was even a century ago, even that is a slacker’s workday. And if one polled the small business owners in this country, I’m sure a lot of them would be happy to see a 60-hour week, if the guvmint didn’t steal most of it.

And Steve, try to think of one physical attribute of GW that was not ridiculed (starting with caricatures of him with Dumbo ears) by the MSM, yet those same hypocritical jerks praise the exact same attributes in Duh-1 (starting with an incredibly poor speaking ability without TOTUS.) His ears, his swagger, his smirk – all positives for His Hollowness, laughable in GW.

Another thing: Bush shed tears for America. Shed tears for lives lost, for troops lost. You will never see OJoker shed tears for America. For himself, perhaps, but no one else.

Remember how grossly offensive Bush’s “swagger” was, although he characterized it as “walking?” So it was with no surprise at all when a few months back I read glowing accounts of Obama’s “swagga,” which was a wonderfully admirable thing which brought great credit to this nation.

Concerning Barack’s “vacation woes,” did he forget that he, Michelle, the kids, and the Secret Service shut down the Grand Canyon to the public just two weeks ago for 7 hours? How is that NOT a vacation? Don’t think he got much “presidential work” done while there, but maybe I’m just not understanding how “hard it is” to be president. Crikey, I LIVE in Arizona and my kids have never been to the Grand Canyon – I’ve only been there twice in my life. And that’s because for us to travel up there from the Phoenix area, stay one day and one night, eat 3 meals a day at restaurants, then drive all the way home, would be a PRICEY VACATION for us on our limited budget. As it is for most folks whose jobs aren’t that of POTUS.

Being the leader of the greatest nation on earth demands some personal sacrifices.

A liberal states what he would assume to be a better world and tells what has to be destroyed in order to make it work, all because he has conceived of it.

A conservative sees a problem, looks at previous attempts to find solutions to the problem, figures out what will really work in the real world and goes about getting it done.

That’s why liberals can look at the disasters that are health care in Canada, Great Britain, nearly all of Europe, Cuba, etc., and say it will be different this time.
