I just hope all of the ignorant bleeding heart liberals who voted for “Hope and Change” are getting their guts full. What will it take for them to wake up and see that we are witnessing the destruction of America in one fell swoop headed up by a guy who made a killing rabble rousing and couldn’t efficiently manage a Taco Bell.

A little carbon emission to drive across town in your old car, eeeeevil, cash for clunkers!

A ton of energy use/carbon emissions to build hybrid cars, toxic heavy metal mining, etc. is GOOD, it saves the plaaaaaanet!

Another great example of Orwellian doublethink/doublespeak from our “friend” in the Democrat party!

Kate, candles will probably be produceable, but I would question whether lamps will because they invole the use of metal and glass in the manufacture, both of which use massive amounts of power to produce. And they leave a “huge” carbon footprint.

And as far as them thinking, that’s the problem, they don’t. They create specific utopian scenarios in their bigoted little minds, not paying the least attention to reality, then express dismay when the law of unintended consequences kicks in (if they express anything at all beyond wonder at their own brilliance). They are determined to create their utopian socialism, and nothing, absolutely nothing, will prevent them from that “achievement”.

My teenage daughter was reading information on this and she said she was scared….the loss of jobs and the added expense adds up to a worse economy. What are these nutcases in Washington, DC thinking?

I feel this is just the culminating force to drive the US into a truly socialist system of government.

I think I will begin a candle and lamp business….cause we won’t be able to keep the lights on much longer. Who’s really in the dark here? My vote is for Congress. Turn the lights off permanently on the rats in 2010….vote em out!

2000.00 for cap and trade, 8,000.00 for Obamacare..taxes levied on cigarettes and beer.

I seem to remember someone saying that they wouldn’t raise taxes on folks that made under 250k a year.

Not only will there be more taxes, but there will be AT LEAST $10,000.00 more per year for families to pay out..all the while we lose more and more jobs.

I hate to be blunt but WTF are these people doing? are they out of their cartoon minds???
