And now, in this most transparent Congress evuh, Maxxy isn’t about to let his fellow congresscritters or the public see his new and improved version until he’s ready to take a vote on it. Or vote on any amendments to it, either, unless absolutely forced to.

From the AP today: “Nobody is going to mess with your benefits. Nobody. All we do is make it better for people on Medicare,” Vice President Joe Biden told about 150 people at the Leisure World retirement community in suburban Maryland.

In other words, “Don’t worry about that guillotine over there – it doesn’t mean anything. Trust me when I tell you it’s not for you.”

It was hard to believe so many nitwits and unicorn-lovers got sucked in last year, but they’ve had eight straight months of lies, damned lies, and backtracking at 100 mph now. Do ya think they’ll ever wake up and stop dreaming that Duh-1 is the messiah? With his mental dwarf sidekick dopey ‘splainin’ everything we dumb folks out here can’t seem to get?

And with the obvious partial answer that they get more power individually and as a group, I wonder if anyone will follow the money after the vote to see which one(s) of the blue dogs (or, as far as that is concerned, Ms. Snowe) will have their basic worth significantly enhanced? Just sayin’.

The CBO estimate for the cost of the plan coming out of the Senate will not be ready for another two weeks. That gives us time to organize and beat this thing.
