Fort Hood has set up a hotline for relatives of soldiers at the base to call for more information. The numbers, which are for family members only, are 254-288-7570 and 866-836 2751. Relatives can also register and search on the Red Cross’ Safe and Well site to find out more.

I was not surprised to hear that the killer was a Muslim. I was not surprised either.when moving back and forth between various news sources to get updated information, to hear great pains being taken not to mention that the killer was a Muslim…well, except of course for Fox News, which worried more about accuracy than offending people.

And of course, already, the killer’s family was given a soapbox by the so called news media to victimize the killer and demonize the Army. Sickening!

This incident is just another example in an endless series of examples, not only in this country but around the world, that a Muslim’s first and only loyalty is to their Mullahs….not to their country….not to their family.

When will people wake up to this simple fact!

“Allahu Akbar!” == poor "harassed psychiatrist" Now the "PC bunch", which seems to include the FBI, are telling us that his being a Muslim had nothing to do with the shootings. Instead we are to believe that he was merely a poor "harassed psychiatrist." Apparently, anybody yelling “Allahu Akbar!” should now be considered a poor "harassed psychiatrist" hellbent on killing everybody nearby. I wonder if the American Psychiatric Association will now come under "Patriotic Act" scrutiny.

Maybe my little brain has trouble comprehending the going’s-on of the more highly educated, superior thinkers in this once great nation but during the second world war, we rounded up Japanese Americans and put them in detention camps. Not saying that’s right but now we have gone so far in the other direction that we have known terrorist training camps all over America, radical mosques spewing hatred and Jihad across the nation and Muslim extremists within our own military ranks. But the ‘mood’ of the nation and our self-loathing has evidently changed so much that we are supposed to say, “But it’s their RELIGION! They have the right to their beliefs.” But wait, let’s condemn Christianity, get rid of anything that remotely resembles a cross and label any Christian as a fear-mongering, backwards, hating rube lest we be seen as marginalizing to the ‘rest of the world.’ After all, our own Dear Leader is traveling the glob apologizing for our many past and present transgressions and trying to get everyone to like us. What have we become? I hope someone with superior intellect can tell me . . . but wait, probably those superior Dem’s don’t visit here so I guess I’ll just have to sit here, an ignorant rube, after all.

NC Cop, you are exactly right. That was my first thought on learning he is Muslim and has written about his extreme, deranged beliefs. The Army itself should be held accountable for allowing this disturbed PSYCHIATRIST!! to remain in his highly paid. sensitive position within our own military ranks. My thoughts exactly. Fear of offending Muslims has permeated our governments – state, local, and national. I’m willing to bet there were red flags in this guy’s records, but it was ignored so that no one would get accused of “Islamophobia” or (more ridiculous, still) “racism.”

The jihad is real, and it is within the US.

I first heard reports about the shootings as Breaking News on CNN Headline News while sitting in the waiting room at my doctor’s office. The reporter IMMEDIATELY said, “There is no reason to think this is a terrorist attack.” 90 minutes later, driving home from the doctor’s office, listening to the radio, again, reporters kept repeating “This is NOT a terrorist attack.” I found it very interesting that reporters found it necessary to keep telling us what the incident was NOT, when nobody knew at that point what it WAS!

Am I surprised that the perpetrator is a Muslim? Absolutely not!

NC Cop: I absolutely agree with you. When I read that someone WITH THE SAME NAME was posting on blogs expressing sympathy and understanding for suicide/homicide bombers but for some reason they WOULD NOT TAKE ACTION against this guy – what else could it be besides the same old PC crap?

And I Wonder: Don’t be too hard on the Army officials not being able to give out completely accurate data within moments of the attacks. They were getting their information from witness reports – and the witnesses were understandably upset and terrified and inaccurate. But the media still needed to be fed…

I disagree. Many legal immigrants have a better understanding of the value of liberty than a lot of native-born Americans. If a legal immigrant wants to defend the freedoms of his adopted country, I'm all for it. In fact, take a look at this:

That damnable gun just jumped out of its holster and picked its own targets and fired ALL BY ITSELF!

How do I know this? First, people don’t kill people, guns kill people (just listen to the “destroy-the-Second” crowd. And second, surely no one could ever believe a follower of the “religion of peace” could ever unjustifiably bring harm to any innocents, could he?

I haven’t heard ten words on the news tonight pointing out that pig is a muslim, and probably won’t in the next week, either.
