I think Paterson is realizing which way the political winds are blowing, and they are away from Teh Cwaziness of Obama and Co.

Of course, maybe he actually means it, too. The civilian trials in NYC is monstrously moronic.

The interesting thing about this is if it is true that Paterson IS pandering, then one could conclude that the majority of New Yorkers are pissed off with Obama and Holder for doing it.

Hmmmmm….Interesting to find out Paterson heard of this decision from the White House six months ago…..Hmmmmmm….And Happy Holder only consulted his wife and brother in making the decision? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…. More prevarication out of the Gray House…..What else is new??????

Paterson is a politician. Politicians pander for any votes they think they may have a chance of getting (remember Hillarious’ southern twang?).

Therefore, it doesn’t matter whether he really would believe what he’s saying if he were Joe Citizen, he’s pandering because he thinks (primarily) that it’ll win him a few extra votes.
