Hmmm.

Palin wasn’t allowed to make a speech, pose for photos or personalize notes in the books she signed because the Army didn’t want her appearance to prompt political grandstanding against President Barack Obama.

But, of course, the President certainly can use the troops as a backdrop for any political grandstanding in which he wishes to engage.

It seems to me that this was a backhanded way of acknowledging that Mrs Palin just might be more popular with our soldiers than the current Commander-in-Chief. After all, the images couldn’t be used for grandstanding unless they showed real, genuine popularity.

On the Sunday shows these idiotic liberals keep telling everyone who will listen how easily Barack will beat Sarah in 2012 and that we better think twice. I have to laugh at that thought, after all didn’t the left say the only person who had a ghost of a chance was McCain, and look where that got us. I figure if the left is telling us what to do, we should actually do the exact opposite. I can’t wait until I get to say “Thank you God for President Palin”. – Lorica
