- faked data
- doctored processes
- compromised peer-review
- flimsy hypothesis (tree rings?)
- obstructed access to journals by those outside of the cabal
Motives?
- Greed
- Herd mentality
- “prime opportunity to fix a big problem – once in a lifetime” Pretty much the same mentality that drives the congress these days.

Hmmmm … I wonder what the reaction of our “objective” news media would be if a batch of similar e-mails and data had been purloined from, say, Exxon or British Petroleum instead of from the CRU at East Anglia University?

I think we all know the answer to that. They’d be howling from the rooftops.

But we really shouldn’t be at all surprised. Recall that they did the same thing back in 2007 when they tried their best to ignore the success of “The Surge” and the subsequent turnaround in Iraq, hoping that the situation would deteriorate again so that they wouldn’t have to admit that Bush was right. Likewise, they’ll wait for as long as they can to acknowledge the significance of “Climategate” in the hopes that the story will simply die out.

Once again, why am I not surprised? The gullible lefties who feel that their cause is pure as the driven snow, must be cringing in the corner or laughing as they toast each other with smug looks on their faces….hah, they got away with the ruse for about as long a Bernie Madoff did with his pyramid scheme. Question is will they be brought to justice for it?

This can’t be possible. Just last year on this very website, someone informed me that there was no real money in global warming sciences. Just a paltry sum, and not much at all. I had to laugh when the next day an article was posted scaring us into believing that we needed to spend 1.5T annually on GW or in 10 years it would all be too late. LOL Now we find out that the world of GW sciences are flush with cash and lying about what is actually happenning, yet the libs still believe. Hey lefties, can you spell the word gulible??? eventually some of the perps will start to “sing”, and then we’ll have enough to prove that this scandal is absolutely enormous… the pending climate change extortion bill must/will be shot down, and some of the plotters will be exposed for what they are…face it, the payoff for this scheme was going to be in the trillions, so this isn’t just a small academic matter about peer-review.

But ST, money is only tainted if it comes from skeptics, don’tcha know? Anything responsible governments like the Duh-1 admin gives can’t be tainted, by definition. It’s to establish the unvarnished truth about 1) how evil GB was, 2) how evil the oil companies are and 3) how evil conservatives are (you know, they’re all liars, cheats and charlatans, kinda like the creeps at CRU that we’re not supposed to know about).

By hacking in and stealing that information the hackers only muddied the waters. The “facts” remain that all global warming is a direct result of man’s existence, and the sooner all men (except the true believers) are gotten rid of the better.
