….Pinky Reid is in deep ca-ca here in Nevada. He’s spending huge amounts of campaign cash running TV ads and they’re having little to no effect. The problem is the ads themselves are so far over-the-top as to be laughable in the eyes of the public. Nobody believes this crap. In addition, he’s got “groups” (unions) running ads for him under the guise of them being “informational.” But everyone knows they’re campaign ads.

Last week was a first. I heard radio ads being run by an ordinary small businessman – not a politician – not running for anything – imploring Reid to knock off the ads – noting that “they were giving everyone a headache!”

Right now Reid’s numbers are in the toilet. As best I know, he won’t have a Dem primary opponent. I fully expect a full out filthy, down in the mud effort from Pinky as November nears and it becomes ever more likely he’s going the way of his long time friend, little Tommy Daschle.

Chances that some of the crooked, incompetent and downright stupid Dem’s don’t get to return to their cushy seats to lie, steal and cheat the American public in an unending charade of public ‘service’? Could there be a pinprick of light at the end of a very long, dark and scary tunnel? I’m actually skeptical of any polls that predict these career buffoons will actually be voted out by what is evidently an ignorant, easily fooled public.

I agree with all Anthony posted.

Better yet,tho, I am a CT constituent and get to campaign and vote against Teddy’s little buddy, Dodd. Even in bluer than blue Connecticut, Dodd is, electorally speaking, in the crosshairs…and I am not alone!

If MA can hang the mortgage mess on Chrissy, what’re the chances the same can be done to Bawney when he comes up for re-election? If anything, he was more instrumental than Chrissy in tanking Fannie and Freddy.

And as far as Chrissy being Kennedy’s waterboy, that doesn’t compute. The Swimmer never went close to water again after he killed Mary Jo.

What will happen is what happened in New Jersey. If it looks like Dodd or Reid will not be re-elected, they’ll have a “health problem” or something, resign the campaign and get a court to force another, more popular democrat on the ballot.

I think Dodd is truly the most offensive senator among the Democrats: an unintelligent drunk, he was little better than Ted Kennedy’s water-boy. (Flip through this article for Dodd’s participation in the infamous “waitress sandwich” incident.) His role in defending the bad practices at Fannie and Freddie is only a little less shameful than Bawney Fwank’s. I’m happy that he’s almost certain to be voted out of office, but I’d really like to see him walked out in irons by FBI agents.

Harry Reid is kind of my next door neighbor (some neighborhood: Boxer, Feinstein, and Reid), so I’ve taken an interest in the Nevada race. Sue Lowden is a good candidate with a good record in the Nevada Senate, and I hope she wins. (I’ve even donated a bit to her campaign.)
