Planned Parenthood is Big Business, just like Goldman Sachs and GM. And just like the failing banks and businesses that have been bailed out, they lean very heavily toward the “party of the people”, the Democrat Party. I wonder when the generally less-than-inquisitive voting public is going to figure this out?

And last, why would anyone wish to listen to some Hollyweird amoral twit who has the I.Q. of a broomstick she probably rides home on?

Having been through the “process” I know that it is not the panacea that some women trump it up to be…more emotional damage is done to women who go through with an abortion than they want you to know…take it from me, I had an emotional breakdown that turned my life upside-down even with the support of friends….friends don’t live with the guilt. And I will admit that it was for purely selfish reasons.

SO, what does abortion have to do with health care. It is an elective procedure in an overwhelming majority of cases. It is not covered by most insurances. So why does the federal health care process have to include it…oh, because of the babbling idiots of the left who think it is a right as witnessed above. If tanning is going to be taxed, why not tax abortions, too. That would bring in a few extra dollars to pay for the plan, Reid and Pelosi.

Would they be all afire over concerns about “back-alley clubbings” and the need to keep baby seal hunts legal and safe? Or would they deafen half the nation with their shrieks of outrage and hate? (Personally I suspect the latter, but then I am just an embittered God-and-guns clinger….)

Remember always, dear readers, that to the Hollywood crowd anything that (1) has big eyes, soft fur, or otherwise looks cute in a full-color Esquire advertisement, and (2) is not human will always be worth more than a human baby. Baby seals, polar bears, whales, dolphins, feral cats, snail darters, trees, … even the protozoan that cause malaria have more intrinsic worth than human life.

Nixon: I think we can continue to tell stories about backstreet abortions and how horrible they are. The idea of making access to safe abortions harder and more expensive and more difficult, having to travel across state lines — that puts women’s health and lives in jeopardy, which is something I think no one wants.

Nothing in this oppressive monstrosity of a bill will make abortions less safe or more difficult, you idiot. This is about is whether women who want abortions can send the bill for them to the taxpayers, or shell out for it themselves.

I must have dreamed those “Planned Parenthood making obscene profits on abortions” headlines last month. Thank goodness Cynthia has cleared that up for me. Hooray for Hollywood… /sarc
