You know, political parties are full of muppets who have no understanding of anything. That business with “Kennedy’s seat” reminded me (and I shall blog it ASAP) of the number of times I have heard Conservatives here say that “UKIP is stealing their votes”. (Sorry, for those who don’t know and that does not include you, Anthony, UKIP is the UK Independence Party that campaigns for withdrawal from the European Union.) My answer is always the same: they are not your votes; they are our votes. You have to prove to us that you deserve them.

Agreed. He’s better than the alternative, and right now the important thing is that 41st vote.

Although I suspect ACORN and SEIU are already loading all the necessary ballots into the trunks of cars, just waiting to be discovered in case they’re needed on election night.

And the SEIU and ACORN already have a couple hundred thousand votes to be found in the back seats of cars/vans (Minnesota), it closets in the local black church (Florida), in the back of local Indian Casinos (N. Dakota) and a bunch of DNC professional judges lined up ready to allow those and deny legit votes to the Repub (Michigan). Here’s hoping it turns out like Florida and not like Minnesota, N. Dakota or Michigan…

Since there is no good alternative, Brown will have to do.

Granted, it’s a little like voting for John-Boy over Duh-1, but at least he’ll vote against the most pressing (and oppressive) legislation brought forth by the current regime, but from what I could tell no one in the debate could be said to be conservative.

And Brown is probably about as conservative as MA would ever get, anyway.
